Why did I title this message: OOOOO-lympics? Well easy explanation: what we've seen so far was sometimes mind blowing 'Oh's' and 'Ah's' everywhere for the wonderful results of the athletes.
I have to say I'm shocked by the bad results of the Belgians, but than again, what did we expect? The only bronze light in the dark sky came from judoka Van Snick. She did a great job out there and she deserves lots of respect. She's still very young so she will have a bright future. Evi Van Acker, our Belgian sailor is doing really good in her regatta, let's hope she will be able to get Belgium a second medal. :)
I love the Olympic Games because it's the only time we get to see sports on television that are never broadcasted otherwise. I like the swimming competition and man, o man, what a great job by team USA!!! It's incredible what that team's achieving. They deserve a lot of respect. They also deserve respect for making this really funny video:

Today the athletics competition starts and 3 Belgians have to compete already. Let's hope for them they survive the heats and go to the semi-finals and finals. Tomorrow is a big day for the famous athletics brothers Borlée. Let's hope they can get us some medals, because there's been a lot of talking in the media about potential medal winners and they all failed. Fingers crossed for Team Belgium! :)
